Peter W. Ham Presents Alzheimer’s CEU Program

About 50 professionals attended a CEU Presentation by Peter W. Ham, M. A., LMHC, on “Sexual Expressiveness in Alzheimer’s disease.” Ham is a licensed mental health counselor with more than 30 years experience and is also the past vice president for the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter.

According to Ham, sexually expressive behavior is especially challenging in patients with Alzheimer’s or related dementia. The interactive CEU program examined how attitudes, values and knowledge influence our interpretation of a patient’s behavior and how best to respond across a variety of settings.
