Ice Cream Treat to Beat the Heat!

Village at Proprietors Green residents savored the flavors from Lil Duke’s ice cream truck recently during a designated stop at the Marshfield Senior Living Community during National Ice Cream Month in July. On a hot day, ice cream with names such as Moose Tracks, Duke’s Dream, and Grasshopper Pie were the best way to beat the afternoon heat. Lil Duke’s on 254 Church Street in Pembroke is a family-owned business. Proceeds from the sale of ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, and frappes during a visit to Village at Proprietors Green will benefit the fall Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
